从长沙到世界：湖南“宝藏娭毑”征服了儿童文学最高奖

The Hans Christian Andersen Award—the "Nobel Prize" of children's literature—has crowned its first Chinese winner in 60 years. Changsha-born illustrator Cai Gao uses Eastern ink painting as her foundation and folk warmth as her soul, fusing traditional Chinese aesthetics with modern artistic concepts to bring Chinese stories to readers worldwide. The Tale of Peach Blossom Spring, Fire City 1938, Mooncake… each book is a world language of Eastern beauty. 

国际安徒生奖——儿童文学界的"诺贝尔奖"，设立60年来，首次有中国创作者获奖。湖南长沙籍插画大师蔡皋，以东方水墨为骨、民间温情为魂，将中国传统书画意境与现代绘画理念融合，让中国故事经由她的画笔温暖全球读者。《桃花源的故事》《火城1938》《月亮粑粑》……每一本都是东方美学的世界语言。

On August 8, she will formally receive the award in Ottawa, Canada. This is a milestone for Chinese original picture books going global.

8月8日，她将在加拿大渥太华正式领奖。这是中国原创绘本走向世界的里程碑。
