香港社工已接触超过1970个受大埔火灾影响住户

According to the latest update on the follow-up to the Tai Po fire announced by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government on December 9th, social workers from the Social Welfare Department (SWD) have been in contact with more than 1,970 affected households.

香港特区政府9日公布的跟进大埔火灾最新情况显示，社会福利署（社署）社工目前已接触超过1970个受影响住户。

As of that day, more than 4 900 residents have been registered for the "one social worker per household" follow-up service. SWD staff also paid visits to the affected residents staying in transitional housing units in Qi De on December 9th and distributed Octopus cards with a face value of HKD 2,000. The SWD will maintain liaison with the affected households to provide all necessary assistance while fully supporting the relief work of the Government.

截至当日，社会福利署社工已为超过4900名居民登记“一户一社工”的跟进服务。社署人员9日还探访暂住启德过渡性房屋的受影响居民，并向他们派发面值2000元的八达通卡。社署还与受影响住户保持联系，为他们提供一切所需协助，并全力支援特区政府的善后工作。

Currently, for the Support Fund for Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, established by the Government, donations received are about HKD 3 billion. In addition to the start-up capital of HKD 300 million from the Government, the fund's total has now reached around HKD 3.3 billion. The fund will be used to assist residents in rebuilding their homes and providing long-term and sustained support. The Government earlier announced that the Support Fund will provide a living allowance to each affected household. As of December 9th, 1,617 cases have been processed.

目前，特区政府成立的“大埔宏福苑援助基金”已收到外界捐款约30亿港元，连同特区政府投入的3亿港元启动资金，基金总额约为33亿港元，会用于协助居民重建家园，是长期和持续的支援。特区政府早前宣布基金会向每户受影响家庭发放生活津贴，截至9日已处理1617宗个案。

As of the morning on the 9th, a total of 1,431 residents have been accommodated, through the co-ordination of the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau, in youth hostels, camps, or hotel rooms. Another 2,530 residents are currently living in transitional housing units provided by the Housing Bureau or units from the Hong Kong Housing Society.

The supplies donation online platform, established by the Government and the information technology sector, continues to operate, facilitating the registration of supplies donations from organisations and the public. As of December 9th, the Government has received over 1,700 registrations. So far, over 160,000 pieces of donation items covering various categories have been distributed to different places.

After the order to remove scaffold nets issued by the Buildings Department (BD) of the Government, as of the 9th, 230 private buildings have had their scaffold nets removed from the external walls. As of 16:00 on the 9th, the Labour Department has inspected 371 construction sites.
