湖南助力刚果（布）大洋铁路升级提质

On the morning of February 27, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Congo-Ocean Railway rehabilitation and modernization project undertaken by Hunan Province was held at Brazzaville Railway Station in Brazzaville, the capital of the Republic of Congo. President Denis Sassou Nguesso laid the foundation stone for the project.

当地时间2月27日上午，由湖南承建的刚果（布）大洋铁路现代化改造工程在首都布拉柴维尔火车站举行开工启动仪式，刚果（布）总统德尼·萨苏-恩格索为项目奠基。

The Congo-Ocean Railway was constructed between 1921 and 1934. The railroad line spans approximately 511.3 kilometers, running from Pointe-Noire on the west coast to Brazzaville in the east. After nearly a century of operation, its infrastructure and rolling stock have deteriorated significantly. This modernization project will fully restore the railway's transport capacity by installing modern electromechanical equipment and locomotives, while also renovating stations along the route. Upon full operation, the project will help the Republic of the Congo reclaim its position as a core transit corridor and vital logistics hub in Central Africa, significantly boosting import-export trade and economic development along the route.

刚果（布）大洋铁路全长约511.3公里，建于1921年至1934年间，西起黑角港，东至布拉柴维尔。历经近百年运营，铁路基础设施和行驶设备严重老化。本次现代化改造工程将全面恢复铁路运输能力，配备现代化机电设备和机车，翻新沿线车站建筑。项目全面运营后，将助力刚果（布）再次成为中部非洲核心过境通道和重要物流枢纽，极大促进进出口贸易及沿线经济发展。

The project is constructed by the Hunan Construction Investment Group, with a four-year implementation period. On behalf of the delegation of the Hunan Provincial People's Government, Guo Ning, director of the Office of Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, noted that Hunan will take the project as an opportunity to leverage its comprehensive strengths in railway design, construction, and equipment manufacturing. The province will mobilize skilled technical teams and integrate advanced resources to build a modern rail artery for the people of the Republic of the Congo.

该项目由湖南建投集团具体承建，实施周期为4年。湖南省委外事办主任郭宁代表湖南省政府代表团致辞时表示，湖南将以此为契机，充分发挥在铁路设计、建设与装备制造方面的综合实力，调动精干技术团队，整合先进资源力量，为刚果（布）人民建设一条现代化的钢铁动脉。
