This summer, a group of American teens spent 8 days exploring Hunan's living intangible cultural heritage — not through textbooks, but through their own hands. A 1,000-year-old academy, terraces irrigated without machines, Miao embroidery… by the end, they came away with a deeper appreciation for the region's heritage and its distinctive cultural landscape.

今年夏天，一群美国青少年用8天时间深入湖南——不是通过教科书，而是亲手触摸“活”的非物质文化遗产。千年学府、无需机械自流灌溉的梯田、苗族刺绣、启发电影《阿凡达》的巍峨峰林……这群少年对湖南非遗及其独特的文旅特色有了更深入的了解。
