In Sierra Leone, traffic trauma is rampant, malaria spreads year-round, and pediatric rehab is nearly non-existent. China's 27th medical aid team from Hunan didn't just fly in, treat, and leave. They walked into the training center and taught three core courses — orthopedic trauma nursing, malaria care, and pediatric rehabilitation — hands-on, to local nurses.
